Sure, times are tough. That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get family portraits, birth announcements, and wedding photography – it just means we’ve got to be a bit more savvy about it. Instead of entrusting someone who isn’t a professional, why not choose a pro who’s got your budget in mind?
Adult Session 5/5/12
Wow. I had so much fun yesterday doing these photos! We hunted down this amazing field full of dandelions and played with some interesting props. Then my subject happily waded into FREEZING water for the sake of a photograph. It was a great time and I am so happy with the results!

Choosing a Wedding Photographer
It’s a big deal, those wedding photos. They can only be taken once, and what you get is what you’ll have to look at for the rest of your life. Choosing a wedding photographer can be a daunting task, and of course every photographer says they’re the best bet – they’ll be the one to create your perfect photographs. Why should you choose this photographer over that photographer? Why shouldn’t you just have Uncle Bob or Cousin Jane do your photos? They have expensive cameras and they even said they’ll give you the photos for really, really cheap or even free. Sounds like a good deal, right?

A tragic fire struck a family home near my own home, and my husband and I rushed outside shortly after the fire started. We ran across the yards separating our houses, with our only thought being that we had to make sure the inhabitants of the house in flames made it out.
My Girl
For some reason, my kids don’t really like having their pictures taken. I hear it’s the curse of photographers’ kids. 
Anyway, my daughter, June, is 16 months old. She actually sat still long enough for me to get some photos! Amazing!
